Tadcaster Town Council owns various areas of land in and around the town. A map is held in the Council Office showing these areas and also some areas in other ownership.

It is important not to trespass on land in private ownership and permission must be obtained before venturing onto any land with the express desire to detect.

Please apply in writing, giving full details of any areas you may wish to cover, how, and how many people this would involve, giving specific dates and times. The application will be put before Tadcaster Town Council for discussion at an appropriate Council meeting after which, you will be informed of the Council’s decision.
