Celebrate u3a Day

Published: 11 May 2021

Tadcaster & Villages u3a is celebrating its first NATIONAL Day u3a on Wednesday, 2nd June 2021 at The Barn, St Joseph’s Street, Tadcaster.

If you are thinking of retiring or are already retired or semi-retired, why not come along with a friend and learn about u3a and what it means.

There will be a display of our members’ activities, and their group leaders will be happy to chat with you and explain what they do.

Look out for our volunteers at Sainsbury’s near the bike park area where they will be promoting our branch and who will be happy to explain about and what it means to be a member of u3a. Volunteers will also be walking through Tadcaster town on the day, wearing yellow/blue sashes. Stop and chat with them and find out more about becoming a member of Tadcaster & Villages u3a.

There will be a Quiz and a prize for the lucky winner on the day and refreshments will be available too.

The event will be from 11am to 4pm and we will be celebrating learning laughing and living. COME AND JOIN US AND HAVE SOME FUN!
