Market & Celebration

Thursday 2nd June
Approx. 9:15pm Beacon The lighting of the Beacon on Garnet Lane.
12:00pm-3:30pm Riley Smith Hall Jubilee Matinee Dance, a mix of ballroom and Latin dance.

Friday 3rd June
7.30pm St Mary’s Church Adam Parrish’s Jubilee Concert - Tickets will be £10, which includes a glass of prosecco and a bowl of strawberries. Please contact the church.

Saturday 4th June
Community Centres Afternoon tea and film screenings
The Barn Roller disco party with Party in the Palace screening
10:00am-4:00pm Tadcaster Methodist Church mini market. Plants, crafts, cakes and more
St Mary’s Church Flower festival (through the decades) based on anything relevant to the seven decades of Queen Elizabeth's reign. Local musicians playing and refreshments provided throughout the day

Sunday 5th June
9:30am-3:30pm Outdoor Market – Kirkgate and Westgate
We are delighted to be continuing the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations by holding an outdoor food and craft market on Kirkgate and Westgate. We will host a variety of business, charities, local groups and live music. Come along and pick up some great unique and original gifts, support local produce and food stalls. A selection of local shops and food outlets will also be open on the day. Including warm food and hot drinks.
Throughout the day Outdoor Live Music York Mix Radio and York RI Golden Rail Band

screen to watch events live. Fancy dress competition.
