Play Area Refurbishment

Exciting refurbishment of the above play areas which will take place later this year. This is part of project to redevelop six play areas in the Selby district.

You can find more information on the draft designs at www.selby.gov.uk/play-area-consultation. Each site will include at least 13 new pieces of equipment and at least seven inclusive pieces that can accommodate the needs of less able users. The sites have all been designed with equipment that will encourage interactive, imaginative and educational play as well as equipment designed to develop climbing, balancing and coordination amongst children of a wide range of ages and abilities in a safe environment.
